침묵의 기둥

작가는 세계를 흡수하는 동시에 세계로부터 흡수된다. 한국의 문화를 기록해 온 천년의 한지를 매개로 작가와세계는 연결된 채 서로 물들어간다. 침묵은 스스로 완전히 구성되기 때문에 언제나 작가의 편이다. 시소의 끝에 각각 앉아 플로티노스의 빛의 철학 마지막 장에 갈아놓은 먹을 올려본다.

COLUMN OF SILENCE

The artist absorbs the world while simultaneously being absorbed by it. Through hanji, the traditional Korean paper that has documented Korean culture for a thousand years, the artist and the world are interconnected and influence each other. Silence, fully formed in itself, is always on the artist’s side. Sitting on opposite ends of the seesaw, the artist places muk ground for the final chapter of Plotinus' philosophy of light.
